A little "out of season"?
Not really, considering that pecans keep longer "inside" the shell. I was about to make Dishpan Cookies and discovered I was out of shelled pecans---it took about 45 minutes for my son and I to get about, oh, approximately one quart of pecans, shelled that is. Inside the shell-about 2 gallons. I use these for making pecan pies, cakes, banana Nut bread, and of course, cookies! Yum! Will post pics later, if not eaten beforehand...LOL
